--- "Wfweio er koewr lads fiewie enaa fdnes? We diaejf er (and fwew)?"
--- "When we have the freedom to stay closed in us same? Who (and why) it is preventing us? "
The question has always haunted the fwfwv (or at least the most enlightened minds of the people) began to attack the already weak defense of my sanity.
What I have in common with this ancient alien race? I do not know, but the answer may lie in the strange story of their evolution.
The signals were fwfwv. I do not know what. no electromagnetic fields, and probably not sound. For what I know, rather than another planet, may belong to another universe, in which case their true nature may have no sense at all for our logic.
The value assumed by a fwfwv every moment was a function of all the values of others fwfwv, and to himself at the previous instant, according to a unique algorithm for each of them (what we interpret as an identity).
The behavior of each, therefore, depended on that of all others.
So not only communication was a very important component of their company, but their very existence was common;
In the middle is empty. The fwfwv signals are independent. The value of each is not affected at all by that of others. Closed universes, works of art in themselves and in continuous self-construction. They found the answer to their question, and as such can not reveal.
"Who (and why) there is preventing it?". Human nature would lead me astray: I am tempted to make a list of people, while they too are part of the game; brain that receive and transmit data so compulsive. The word "we" which I translated as "who" actually refers not only to individuals but also in energy models and memetic aggregates. On the other hand we must not forget that fwfwv do not see any difference between a living being and a data stream.
Things could easily go the other way, anyway. Because of their nature fwfwv have a sense of individual identity is much weaker than that of humans. They could follow the path of considering a single carrier data, and gradually merge into a collective ego.
However I think that even in this case, however, would achieve the freedom they were seeking. Walking another path ...
